Welcome to MortCompost.Info, where you will find up to date information and resources on the natural rendering of livestock mortalities and butcher residuals on the farm.
This website was created as part of the WSU On-Farm Mortality Composting Research and Education Project, a part of the BIOAg Program of Washington State University's Center for Sustaining Agriculture and Natural Resources. It contains composting instructions for producers, information on climate and materials by region, Washington State agricultural composting regulations, photo galleries, and links to further research.
